"Twas the night before Christmas

Posted by cnassa

With original choreography by Artistic Director Eva Marie Pacheco, “Twas the Night Before Christmas” is a unique and colorful interpretation of the classic Holiday poem by Clement Clark Moore. Clocking in at 1 hour and 30 minutes, the Performance is sure to hold children’s attention with a lively St. Nick, Dancing Sugar Plums, Prancing Reindeer, Magical Snowflakes, moving sets, clever puppetry and colorful costumes.

In its 8th year, the performance is an opportunity for young student dancers to work alongside professional veterans to dazzle a paying audience. 31 student dancers along with 11 professional dancers and guest artists from throughout Rhode Island are currently in rigorous rehearsals. Pacheco commented “The rehearsals are bustling with excitement as the performance dates near. It is always so thrilling to see the young performers observe and absorb all that our professionals offer.”

Les Isle Rose is the 2017-20018 Season Sponsor of the Providence Ballet Theatre.
