A Warwick man was killed in a motor vehicle crash on Route 10 in Cranston early on the morning of Oct. 23, according to Rhode Island State Police.
Matthew Ross, 32, was identified as the victim in a statement released that afternoon. He was pronounced deceased at the scene after emergency personnel responded shortly after 2 a.m.
According to State Police, the single-vehicle crash occurred south of the Garfield Avenue exit ramp on Route 10 south. Ross’s vehicle is said to have exited the roadway and truck the right shoulder guardrail before rolling over.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
