The fifth-grade students at Glen Hills Elementary School recently took guests on a tour through the history of the American Revolution.
As part of their Wax Museum project, the students chose an important figure from history and researched that person over several weeks. They then created a presentation board with information on their chosen figure and dressed up to portray that person as part of the museum.
The characters portrayed by the students were Abigail Adams, John Adams, John Quincy Adams, Samuel Adams, Ethan Allen, Benedict Arnold, Crispus Attucks, Aaron Burr, Benjamin Franklin, Nathan Hale, Alexander Hamilton, Patrick Henry, Andrew Jackson, Thomas Jefferson, James Monroe, Thomas Paine, Molly Pitcher, Paul Revere, Betsy Ross, Baron Von Steuben, George Washington and Martha Washington.
