What better way to celebrate art than to have an exhibit featuring a grandfather, grandson and family friend? Ed Rondeau, Nicholas Paolino and Terry Boylan have had their photography displayed at Cranston Public Library (140 Socckanosset Cross Road) since Nov. 1. On Nov. 16, the photographers had an open reception where many visitors stopped by.
Rondeau is a longtime Edgewood resident and retired Cranston teacher and administrator who has an extensive experience in visual arts – whether it be theatre direction, set design, sculptor in steel or photography. Paolino, Rondeau’s grandson, is a graduate of Bishop Hendricken High School and has his B.A. in Graphic Design and M.A. in Communication from Merrimack College. Paolino is an experienced photographer, videographer, graphic designer with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry within departments of communication and marketing. Boylan, whose Rondeau’s friend, has a 50 year career in education ranged from elementary school principal to university professor. His work in photography has been seen in galleries and shows in Rhode Island, Marblehead and Cape Cod. (Photos by Steve Popiel
