Create an abstract acrylic painting using an area of one of your photographs. Zero in on an interesting area of your favorite photograph using a viewfinder and crop it. Keep in mind that the chosen area will become your individual, stand-alone artwork. We will also take a look at the history of abstraction, abstract artists, and personal techniques. This is a fun and interesting method of exploring abstract painting and is for all levels of artists. NOTE: There is no class on May 29.
