(Robot romance)
You can always count on the Avon to bring you something new and different.
This time it is a “robot romance” from Germany (with English subtitles).
Maren Eggert stars as Alma, a workaholic archeologist. He boss volunteers her for a project to test robots for human compatibility.
Tom (Dan Stevens) lives with Alma for three weeks, providing for her every need, both physical and emotional.
Tom is very smooth and debonair, saying and doing the correct things at all times, which gets on Alma’s nerves.
She is a loner, married to her work, and in no mood for a romantic interlude. This is a movie about happiness and what makes people happy.
The robot and the human slowly adjust to each other, as she becomes more open with her feelings.
With all the corny romantic comedies on the market, “I’m Your Man” takes us in a different direction and leaves us with a satisfying conclusion.
(Bond, James Bond)
Daniel Craig sings his swan song in this exciting, sexy, gadget-filled, action-packed adventure that just goes on and on.
It has been 25 episodes since “Dr. No” hit the screen, and the writers keep coming up with new villains, Bond girls, vehicles and gimmicks galore.
Spectre is back to haunt Bond, along with a bevy of beauties, some who you may not trust.
Bond comes out of retirement to help a friend a kidnapped Russian scientist.
It gets a little crazy along the way and could have been cut to below its two and three quarter hours, but when you think it will end, there’s more Bond adventure to come.
