The Cranston Herald’s Athlete of the Week is senior field hockey captain Lily Tillinghast. Tillinghast has been leading the way as the Thunderbirds look to compete for a championship, and scored the game-winning goal against Toll Gate then another against Woonsocket. This is her third season with the program, which is officially a playoff contender after reaching the postseason last year. The co-op sits at 4-1 this fall and has its sights set on a DIII title.
