The FirstWorks Festival debuted in Providence.
Cranston’s Texas Roadhouse had “killer ribs” for $11.99 and a sirloin steak for $8.99.
Veteran actor Bob Colonna starred as
Joe in Arthur Miller’s classic “All My Sons” at the old 2nd Story Theatre. Cranston’s Lynne Collinson was terrific as “Mother.”

Steve and Eydie were back at the Warwick Musical Theatre. So was Roy Orbison.
Ray Charles, Dizzy Gillespie, Stan Getz and Miles Davis were at the JVC Jazz Festival in Newport. Those were the days! They were followed by Bill Cosby and Liberace, who said to the silver haired lady in the front row, “See this diamond ring? You paid for it.”
Neil Sedaka, Irene Cara, Anne Murray and Larry Gatlin also appeared.
Fanny’s Fireside Inn in Warwick had broiled swordfish and crab casserole for $6,95 and baked stuffed lobster for $7.95.
Peter Gerety and William Damkoehler starred in “What the Butler Saw” at Trinity Summer Theatre.
Bo Derek starred in “Bolero.”
