The Zoning Board may approve, approve with conditions or deny the following petitions/applications, as may be modified by testimony and/or evidence presented throughout the public hearing; and/or possible vote to continue a petition’s public hearing to a date determined.
EXTENSION OF GRANT
Petition #10934 Ward 4 11 Terrace Ave.
The petition of Mark Paradise, 11 Terrace Ave., Warwick, RI, requests a dimensional variance to construct a two-story addition, and an attached garage to the existing non-conforming single-family dwelling. Proposed garage having less than required front yard setback. Subject property being a pre-existing undersized lot. Assessor’s Plat 336, Lots 324-326, zoned Residential A-40. (2nd Request – 1st Extension granted 10/10/2024).

Wal-Mart Real Estate Business Trust, 2608 SE J St., Bentonville, AR, requests an amendment to a previously granted resolution. The petitioner is proposing a 2,347 sq. ft. expansion to the existing building (Walmart), and improvements to the parking lot to accommodate improved grocery pick-up operations. The petitioner is seeking a dimensional variance to reduce the number of parking spaces from 612 spaces to 567 spaces. Assessor’s Plat 294, lot 1, zoned General Business (GB).
Petition #11082 Ward 8 842 Centerville Rd.
The petition of Matt Tonning, 842 Centerville Rd., Warwick, RI, requests a dimensional variance to construct a two-story addition to increase the size of the attached garage, the first floor living space, and to construct a second-floor addition above the garage to add two (2) additional bedrooms & a bathroom. Proposed addition having less than required side yard setback. Assessor’s Plat 242, Lot 19, zoned Residential A-15. (Previously approved in March 2024, but expired).
