DUI

On March 5 at 1:44 p.m., police arrested Christopher D. Chase, 25, 487 Greenville Ave., Johnston, on a charge of driving under the influence. Police say Chase was arrested after officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Oaklawn Avenue.

On March 7 at 1:15 a.m., police arrested Christian Pinol, 25, 189 Harold St., Providence, on a charge of driving under the influence. Police say Pinol was arrested as a result of a well being check on Reservoir Avenue.

On March 7 at 2:12 a.m., police arrested Courtney Hilaire, 28, Avon, Massachusetts, on a charge of driving under the influence. Police say Hilaire was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle accident investigation on Broad Street.

DOMESTIC CHARGES

On March 4 at 12:31 a.m., police arrested Randall Medeiros, 28, with a last known address of 460 Charles St., Providence, on charges of domestic simple assault/battery, third offense, and domestic disorderly conduct.

On March 5 at 6 p.m., police arrested Jose Bottier Garcia, 24, 46 Lincoln Ave., third floor, on charges of domestic assault with a dangerous weapon in a dwelling house, domestic simple assault and battery, domestic disorderly conduct, and disorderly conduct.

On March 6 at 6:23 p.m., police arrested Gary Xanthakis, 51, 113 Cold Brook Drive, Cranston, on charges of domestic assault and domestic disorderly conduct.

On March 7 at 6:16 p.m., police arrested Nicole Carothers, 48, 34 Charles St., Cranston, on charges of domestic disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

ASSAULT

On March 9 at 3:51 a.m., police arrested Jenika Peters, 36, 495 Pine St., Apt. 1, Providence, on a charge of simple assault. Police say Peters was transferred from the custody of Providence Police.

DRUG CHARGES

On March 5 at 8:11 p.m., police arrested Miguel Rodriguez, 28, 76 Alvin St., Providence, on a charge of possession of marijuana, more than one ounce. Police say Rodriguez was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Reservoir Avenue.

STOLEN VEHICLE

On March 3 at 9:26 p.m., police arrested Shaun Marrow, 42, 412 Taunton Ave., East Providence, on a charge of possession of a stolen motor vehicle. Police say Marrow was arrested on Pendleton Street.

SHOPLIFTING

On March 5 at 2:54 p.m., police arrested Jessica Thibault, 31, 206 Smithfield Ave., second floor, Pawtucket, on a charge of shoplifting. Police say Thibault was arrested as a result of a call for service on Garfield Avenue.

On March 5 at 8:36 p.m., police arrested Anmar Kalalib Achabi, 54, 34 Ash Ave., Cranston, on a charge of shoplifting. Police say Achabi was arrested as a result of a call for service on Plainfield Pike.

LEASED PROPERTY CHARGES

On March 2 at 9:50 p.m., police arrested Mary Daniels, 44, 1512 Elmwood Ave., Apt. 1, Cranston, on a charge of sale or concealment of leased personal property. Police say Daniels was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Reservoir Avenue.

TRESPASSING

On March 2 at 1:09 p.m., police arrested George Reis, 58, 320 Nooseneck Hill Road, Apt. 8, Exeter, on a charge of willful trespassing. Police say Reis was transferred from the custody of Rhode Island State Police.

FALSE INFO

On March 8 at 3:24 p.m., police arrested Andrew Champagne, 30, 52 Claudia Drive, Cranston, on a charge of providing false information to 911. Police say Champagne was arrested as a result of a disturbance call on Claudia Street.

NO-CONTACT VIOLATION

On March 1 at 8:29 a.m., police arrested Vincent A. Distefano, 25, 48 Old Pocasset Road, Johnston, on a charge of violation of a no-contact order.

On March 1 at 9:16 p.m., police arrested Sean Thibeault, 38, 368 Point Ave., Warwick, on a charge of violation of a no-contact order. Police say Thibeault was additionally taken into custody on a bench warrant issued from Third Division District Court.

FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE

On March 4 at 10 p.m., police took Zachary Buckland, 20, Sterling, Connecticut, into custody on a fugitive from justice warrant issued from Connecticut. Police say Buckland was arrested on Cranston Street.

WARRANTS

On March 1 at 9:16 p.m., police took Alyssa Carr, 35, 1228 Narragansett Blvd., Apt. 2, Cranston, into custody on a bench warrant issued from Fourth Division District Court. Police say Carr was arrested as a result of a service call on Narragansett Boulevard.

On March 2 at 4:52 p.m., police took Thomas Mulligan, 41, 10 Arrowwood Drive, Coventry, into custody on a bench warrant issued from Sixth Division District Court. Police say Mulligan was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Atwood Avenue.

On March 3 at 7 p.m., police took Jose Jerez, 48, 65 Parnell St., Providence, into custody on a bench warrant issued from Superior Court. Police say Jerez was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 10.

On March 5 at 6:20 p.m., police took Carlos Gomes, 24, 320 West Ave., Apt. 1, Pawtucket, into custody on two bench warrants issued from Superior Court. Police say Gomes was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Elmwood Avenue.

On March 6 at 11:56 a.m., police took Janaisa A. Ortega, 23, 483 Dexter St., Providence, into custody on a bench warrant issued from Superior Court. Police say Ortega was arrested as a result of a disturbance call on Reservoir Avenue.

On March 6 at 5:44 p.m., police took Richard Fratus, 33, 9 Vermont St., Cranston, into custody on three court bench warrants. Police say Fratus was arrested as a result of a suspicious person report on Vermont Street.

On March 7 at 1:12 a.m., police took Dean Bogda, 26, 160 Bateman Ave., Cranston, into custody on an arrest warrant issued from Cumberland Police. Police say Bogda was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Turner Avenue.
