With the recent surge in Covid-19 cases due to the Omicron variant, many businesses have taken extra precautions to staying safe.
While the Pilgrim Senior Center in Warwick has closed its doors to in-person activities from Jan. 3 until Jan. 18, the Cranston Senior Enrichment Center, 1070 Cranston Street will remain open with revised protocols.
For starters, the center has cancelled Bingo from now until Feb. 3 and, in all exercise classes, clients are required to practice social distancing. Out of an abundance of caution and for the safety of their guests, the center also cancelled the Hi-Low Jack League which was scheduled for Jan. 4; the event has been postponed until further notice.
Staff and individuals at the center are expected to wear masks – with staff being allowed to remove masks if they are alone in their offices. Other than Bingo and Hi-Low Jack, all in-person activities remain open.
