Moments before letting go, Annabell Reardon asked her daughter if she had a plan (for safely getting down the hill). As she zoomed away, Lola, replied, “Noooo!” Her dad, Andrew, eventually caught up to her as she landed in the thicket.
The Reardon family of Cranston took advantage of the weekend snow to try a new hill. They chose the hill at Salter’s Grove in Warwick. It’s a tricky slope manned at the top and bottom by adults.
The adults stationed on Narragansett Parkway are responsible for providing the sled push. The adults at the bottom help kids to clear of the thicket, each other, and the cove.
