FROM STAFF REPORTS The visiting East Greenwich swim teams topped Cranston East in both the boys and girls side last week at Park View Middle School.
The EG boys took home a 51-42 win over the Bolts. Tim Dietrich won the 200 freestyle with a best time of 2:03. He would also go on to anchor the 200 free relay team and lead it to a comeback win.
Wyatt Harris also won the 100 backstroke for East.
The EG girls cruised to a 68-25 win over East, who was missing six swimmers due to COVID-19.
Lily Maguire was the Lady Bolts’ lone individual winner, getting the victory in the breaststroke with a time of 1:17.9.
