Edward P. Shea, Sr., age 66, of North Kingstown, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Kent Hospital in Warwick.  He was the husband of Katherine J. (Campanile) Shea. Born in Providence, a son of the late Edward A. and Anna (Vendresca) Shea, he lived in North Kingstown for the last 18 years.  A toolmaker by trade, Mr. Shea was the owner of Formex, Inc., Polyjig, LLC, and Santoro Industrial Supply, in East Greenwich. Mr. Shea was an Eagle Scout, and a lifetime member of Westside Little League.  An avid fisherman, he was a former treasurer of the West Bay Anglers. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Edward P. Shea, Jr. (Kara) of Warwick, Thomas M. Shea (Amandalynn) of Cranston, and Adam J. Shea of North Smithfield; two sisters and a brother, Dorothy A. Shea (Richard Greene) of Winter Haven, FL, Kevin M. Shea (Paula) of Warwick, and Patricia R. Russo (Peter) of Charlestown; and seven grandchildren, Jacob, Molli, Emelia, Olivia, Kaelyn, Leah, and Edward Shea. His funeral will be held on Friday, January 14, at 8:45 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick.  Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Francis de Sales Church, 381 School Street, North Kingstown.  Visiting hours will be on Thursday, January 13, from 4-7 p.m.  (Face masks will be required.)  Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery, North Kingstown.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to RI Special Olympics.
