They’re due to finally start talking again, later this month. Too little too late?

Let’s hope no more lives are lost while city officials scratch their collective chins.
Figure out how to address the growing numbers men and women living outdoors on public land, in ramshackle campsites full of public health dangers. Address it quickly, because time is the only factor.
While the mayor’s plan to address homeless encampments on city property might not have been perfect, it was a step in the right direction. It was a bold step. Bold steps are needed right now. Ask those sleeping outside.
City councilors need to remember who they serve. Who are your constituents?
A functioning city has rules. Everyone needs to follow the rules, before order becomes lost. Lives are at stake. And the weather changes fast in New England.
Now, everyone’s aware of the problem. No more excuses. The city’s newest sub-committee has a lot of work on their hands. They better get moving.
