Through the generosity by Maverick Funding, Vanity, the Almond family, Confreda Farms & Greenhouses and the Pangburn family, approximately 200 homeless people and families were served at the Praise Tabernacle Church at 330 Park Avenue recently.
Volunteers provided their time, talent and holiday spirit for this annual Home-4-Homeless Holiday Dinner.
When hearing about the event, Confreda Farms & Greenhouses, located in Cranston, donated Christmas trees to make the meal even brighter for those in need.
“It’s a wonderful feeling, to be able to give the feeling of Christmas to so many people. It was the perfect way to close out our 90th anniversary year; by giving back to this wonderful community that’s given us so much,” said Vinny Confreda.
