PROPOSED ORD. NO. 3-23-01 TRANSFERRING $350,000 FROM THE AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN ACT GRANT FUND FOR ENGINEERING DESIGN DEVELOPMENT COSTS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A BUDLONG POOL AND PARTIAL RENOVATION OF AN IMPROVEMENT UPON THE PROPERY
It is ordained by the City Council of the City of Cranston as follows:
SECTION 1. That up to $350,000 be transferred from the American Rescue Plan Act Grant Fund to the Recreation Bond Fund for costs associated with architectural and engineering design development relating to construction of a new Budlong Pool, as well as partial renovation of the improvement on the Budlong Pool property, commonly known as the “Pool House.”
ARPA Outdoor Recreation Facilities:
Architectural and Engineering Design Development regarding Budlong Pool Construction and Renovation of Adjoining Improvement $350,000
TOTAL ELIGIBLE $350,000
SECTION 2. All funding referenced is subject to American Rescue Plan Act (APRA) spending guidance. Failure to comply with these regulations will result in a forfeiture of funding allocation.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its final adoption.
