Join Fuzek-Rossoni for a special 35th-anniversary reunion concert supporting Stone Soup Coffeehouse through this benefit event on Saturday, Nov. 30 at the Music Mansion, 88 Meeting St., Providence, at 7 p.m.
The iconic duo returns for a one-night performance, revisiting the songs that defined their unique folk-rock sound. Known for their tight harmonies and acoustic blends, their music captured fans in the ‘90s and earned multiple awards in The Providence Phoenix Best Music Poll.
Formed in the late-’80s, John Fuzek and Mary Ann Rossoni emerged from Rhode Island’s folk scene, writing songs that addressed relationships, politics, and the environment. After a successful recording and performance career, the duo pursued solo music projects, with Mary Ann joining bands like Midnight Honey and Dragonfly Marie, and John performing with tributes like Forever Young and CatMoonShadow.
They will be joined by Amy Bedard on vocals and violin, and Ed McGuirl on vocals, mandolin, and guitar. Proceeds from this concert will help fund Stone Soup Coffeehouse’s mission to bring quality folk music to the community.
Don’t miss this chance to relive the spirit of Fuzek-Rossoni’s early performances while supporting a beloved local music venue!
