Irene B. (Bengtson) Olson, 93, formerly of Cranston, died Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Hope Health Hospice & Palliative Care in Providence. She was the wife of the late Ernest E. Olson. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Eric F. and Anna C. (Henrikson) Bengtson, and was a life-long resident of Cranston. Mrs. Olson was employed as an accountant by AAA in Cranston (Triple A) for many years until her retirement. She was an active Church member belonging to Faith Chapel Lutheran Brethren in Cranston. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Richard Bengston. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, March 25, 2022 at 11 am in Faith Chapel Lutheran Brethren, 43 Scituate Avenue, Cranston, RI. Private interment will be in the Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown, RI. Should friends desire, donations in her memory to Faith Chapel Lutheran Brethren will be appreciated.
