The youngsters took turn breakdancing.
They fed a hungry caterpillar.
They used their little diplomas as telescopes.
The Johnston State Pre-K classroom at Over the Rainbow Learning Center celebrated the end of the school year during a show for family and friends on June 17.
The children sang and danced to many songs, from “Shake Your Sillies Out” to “Gummy Bear.” After singing and dancing, the children received certificates of completion for Pre-K and read and acted out “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric Carle.
The list of graduates included the following students (in Ms. Robin and Ms. Michaela’s RI State Pre-K Class): Stella Harrison, Jackson Spetrini, Janelly Mendez, Josiah Wallace, Lucio Couture, Lola Austin, Nicolina Nardolillo-Lima, Zachary Leach, Matthew Cabrera-Arita, Jenna Khadem, Paris Towns, Camila Cabral, Lillian Russo, Juan Diego Juarez, Mya Corvese and Benjamin Mafredi.
