Mary F. Gustafson, 88, passed away Monday, September 6, 2021. She was the loving wife of the late Nils “Gus” Gustafson. Born in Winchester, MA, she was a daughter of the late Henry F. and Lillian (Brazeau) Boudreau. Mary worked as a secretary for Liberty Mutual and West Bay Community Action for many years. She was the mother of Debbie J. Jackman and Lori A. Kocken; grandmother of Adam Jackman (Bethany), Brandon Jackman, Chad Jackman (Alexsandra), and Andrew Kocken; great-grandmother of Grayson, Teagan, and Alita Jackman; sister of Irene Porter (John), Margaret Elsasser (Bruce), and the late Henry Boudreau, Lillian Queen, and Barbara Schultz. She was the godmother of Brenda Porter. She was the sister-in-law of William Queen and the late Clarence Schultz.

Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was loved by all. She was a sweet, loving and kind person. Gardening, birdwatching, and the great outdoors were some of her passions. She enjoyed a good game of scrabble and puzzles with all of her family members. Most of all she was so proud of her grandsons and great grandchildren. She played a very important part in all their lives. She will be sadly missed but forever in all of their hearts. Her funeral will be held Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 10am from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Timothy Church, 1799 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Burial will follow in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick. Visiting hours Tuesday, from 4-7pm.
