New Cranston website to pre-register for COVID-19 vaccine

NEW: Cranston has set up a website, www.CranstonVaccine.com, through which residents age 75 and older can preregister for the COVID-19 vaccine.
 
Here’s a statement from the mayor’s office:
Mayor Kenneth J. Hopkins has announced the continued rollout of Cranston's COVID-19 vaccination program. Cranston residents 75 years of age and older are eligible to preregister for the COVID-19 vaccine using an online form located at www,CranstonVaccine.com. The online form will also be located on the City's website. A list will be established for the anticipated vaccines from the State expected in mid-February.
 
“We are pleased with the response from Cranston residents during the initial rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine in Cranston. The online form will make it easier for our community to sign-up for the vaccine once more are made available to our City from the State," said Mayor Kenneth J. Hopkins.
Cranston residents are asked to fill out the form with their name, address, date of birth, phone number and email address to pre-register. This does not guarantee an appointment. Following preregistration, qualifying applicants will be contacted by a City representative based on age with the oldest residents continuing to receive priority.
