Summer Safety Tips

Summertime is a time of fun and relaxation, but the sun and heat can be dangerous. Here are some tips for keeping safe during the hot weather:

Stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water.

Wear light-colored, lightweight, loose fitting clothes and a wide-brimmed hat.

Stay indoors during mid-day hours

Keep cool … seek air-conditioned places such as, our senior center.

Know the signs of heat-related illnesses and seek help … dizziness, nausea, rapid heart beat, breathing problems, chest pain.

Our programs assist, inform, entertain and enrich the lives of individuals 55 years and older.

The Snack Bar and Gift Shop are open … stop by!
