The Memory Café is a monthly gathering of individuals with memory loss, their caregivers, and/or friends and family members in a safe environment. The program affords participants a chance to socialize and connect with available resources.
Many prescription and over-the-counter medications can impair balance and driving. Learn which medications and what you can do about it.
You’re never too old to reap the rewards of yoga. For seniors who are looking for a safe, effective way to enhance their physical health and overall wellness, the stretching, breathing and meditation practices of yoga can be a great solution.
You can participate in a self-directed “Walk With Ease”
program. You can walk alone or with a friend. The goal is to walk on 18 different days. You have until Oct. 22. You can walk wherever you are comfortable and for as long as you want. What matters is that you exercise by walking. To register, call 780-6000. We will send you additional information and a log that you will return when you have completed the program.
To transport homebound seniors to their medical appointments and/or run errands for them.
