Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce & the Rhode Island Hispanic Chamber to host Community Job Fair

The Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce & the Rhode Island Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will host a Community Job Fair on Friday, August 6 from 10 am to noon at the Blackstone Valley Visitors Center, 175 Main Street, Pawtucket.  This event is free and open to the public, no registration is required for attendees.

“We have heard our members loud and clear. Businesses are severely understaffed and in desperate need of help. We are thrilled to partner with the Rhode Island Hispanic Chamber to host this Community Job Fair connecting our businesses with current job seekers.” said Liz Catucci, President/CEO of the Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce.

“Today, more than ever, we need to join efforts to combat the effects of the pandemic. Our businesses need workers to face the new normality. The RI Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Northern RI Chamber of Commerce and the City of Pawtucket, want to connect job seekers with job opportunities. This is the best moment to find a good job!” said Oscar Mejias, President/CEO of the RI Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

The following employers will be on hand with a variety of job opportunities: AAA, Add Temps, American Labor Services, BankNewport, BayCoast Bank The Brickle Group, NRI Career Academy, Douglas Lumber, Kitchens & Home Center, Hope Global, Masis Staffing, Pawtucket Credit Union, Polaris, Silgan Dispensing Systems, Tiffany & Co., Tri-County Action Agency and more.
