A Public Hearing on the following proposed Ordinance(s) will be held before the Ordinance Committee on Thursday, October 16, 2025 on or about 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 869 Park Avenue, City Hall, Cranston, R.I. pursuant to Section 3.12 of the Cranston City Charter, for the purpose of considering the following items listed on the agenda.  Remote participation is also offered as a public convenience by using the logon information provided below as posted on the City’s website at www.cranstonri.gov and Secretary of State’s website at www.sos.ri.gov.

PROPOSED ORDINANCE 09-25-01 IN AMENDMENT OF TITLE 10, CHAPTER 32, SECTION 600 OF THE CITY OF CRANSTON CODE OF ORDINANCES, 2005, ENTITLED ‘TWO HOUR PARKING BETWEEN 6:00AM and 6:00PM SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS’

It is ordained by the City Council of the City of Cranston as follows:

     Section 1. Title 10 Section 32 Section 600 is hereby amended as follows:

         Woodbury Road, east and west sides, southerly from Parkway Avenue to a point 38 feet north of the northerly property line of 26 Woodbury Road

     Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its final adoption.

PROPOSED ORDINANCE 09-25-02 IN AMENDMENT OF TITLE 10, CHAPTER 12, SECTION 130 OF THE CITY OF CRANSTON CODE OF ORDINANCES, 2005, ENTITLED ‘RIGHT TURNS AT CERTAIN RED LIGHTS’  

It is ordained by the City Council of the City of Cranston as follows:

     Section 1. TITLE 10, Chapter 12, Section 130 is hereby amended by adding the following:

         Intersection of Cranston Street at Gansett Ave – Southbound onto Cranston Street from the hours of 7-9am and 2-4pm.

     Section 2.   This ordinance shall take effect upon its final adoption.

PROPOSED ORDINANCE 09-25-03 IN AMENDMENT OF TITLE 10, CHAPTER 32, SECTION 040 OF THE CITY OF CRANSTON CODE OF ORDINANCES, 2005, ENTITLED ‘NO PARKING ON CERTAIN STREETS - GENERALLY’

It is ordained by the City Council of the City of Cranston as follows:

     Section 1. Title 10, Chapter 32, Section 040 is hereby amended by adding the following:

         Poppy Drive, East Side beginning at the corner of Garden City Drive and continuing approximately 150 feet in a Northerly direction ending at utility pole #7 on Poppy Drive at the approximate property line of the Garden City Residences and 70 Poppy Drive

     Section 2.   This ordinance shall take effect upon its final adoption.

PROPOSED ORDINANCE 09-25-04 IN AMENDMENT OF TITLE 10, CHAPTER 32, SECTION 180 OF THE CITY OF CRANSTON CODE OF ORDINANCES, 2005, ENTITLED ‘NO PARKING –WEEKDAYS’

It is ordained by the City Council of the City of Cranston as follows:

     Section 1. Title 10, Chapter 32, Section 180 is hereby amended by adding the following: 

         Hybrid Drive, both sides of the street, beginning at the corner of Garden City Drive and continuing approximately 225 feet in a Northerly direction ending at utility pole #1 on Hybrid Drive.

         Hollyhock Drive, both sides of the street, beginning at the intersection of Hybrid Drive, and continuing approximately 150 feet to utility pole #7 at Hollyhock Drive at the approximate property line of 102 Hybrid Dr and 94 Hybrid Dr 

     Section 2.   This ordinance shall take effect upon its final adoption.

PROPOSED ORDINANCE 09-25-05 IN AMENDMENT OF TITLE 10, CHAPTER 32, SECTION 500 OF THE CITY OF CRANSTON CODE OF ORDINANCES, 2005, ENTITLED ‘ONE HOUR PARKING - GENERALLY’

It is ordained by the City Council of the City of Cranston as follows:

Section 1. Title 10, Chapter 32, Section 500 is hereby amended by adding the following:

         Hybrid Drive, both sides of the street, beginning at the corner of Garden City Drive and continuing approximately 225 feet in a Northerly direction ending at utility pole #1 on Hybrid Drive. *Saturday and Sunday only* 

         Hollyhock Drive, both sides of the street, beginning at the intersection of Hybrid Drive and continuing approximately 150 feet to utility pole #7 at Hollyhock Drive at the approximate property line of 102 Hybrid Dr and 94 Hybrid Dr *Saturday and Sunday only* 

Section 2.   This ordinance shall take effect upon its final adoption.
