RECEIVING STOLEN GOODS

On Feb. 17 at 3:14 p.m., officers arrested Isiah Allen, 26, of 606 Huntington Ave. Apt # 2 Providence, for Receiving Stolen Goods and Driving with Suspended / Revoked / Cancelled License 4th + Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop at 208 Gansett Ave. Allen was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and remanded to the ACI (Violator).

OBSTRUCTION

On Feb. 17 at 6:33 p.m., officers arrested Kenneth Davila, 42, of 167 Grand Ave., Pawtucket, for Obstructing an Officer in the Execution of Duty, Disorderly Conduct, and Resisting Legal or Illegal Arrest. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop at 659 Reservoir Ave. Davila was awaiting arraignment by a Justice of the Peace.

DOMESTIC SIMPLE ASSAULT

On Feb. 16 at 4:30 p.m., officers arrested Domenic Dibiase, 29, of 102 Enfield St. Johnston, RI for Domestic Simple Assault and Domestic Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a disturbance at 125 Moccasin Tr. Dibiase was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace.

ARREST WARRANT

On Feb. 16 at 9:07 p.m., officers arrested Adilson Carvalho, 24, of 355 Paradis Ave., Woonsocket, RI for an arrest and affidavit warrant out of Johnston PD. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Cranston St. and Gladstone St. Carvalho was turned over to Johnston PD.

DUI

On Feb. 16 at 12:29 a.m., officers arrested James Sweeney, 28, of 23 Roseview Dr, Cranston for DUI-1st Offense-BAC Unknown and Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest was the result of an accident investigation on Phenix Ave. Sweeney was held for morning arraignment.

SHOPLIFTING

On Feb. 15 at 9:02 p.m., officers arrested Luis Macias Perez, 54, of 51 Adelaide Ave. Apt. 2, Providence for Shoplifting and Conspiracy. The arrest was the result of a larceny complaint at Walmart, 1776 Plainfield Pike. Macias Perez was held for morning arraignment.

SHOPLIFTING

On Feb. 15 at 9:02 p.m., officers arrested Alexandre Grana Lopez, 51, of 51 Adelaide Ave. Apt. 2, Providence for Shoplifting and Conspiracy. The arrest was the result of a larceny complaint at Walmart, 1776 Plainfield Pike. Grana Lopez was held for morning arraignment.

OBSTRUCTION

On Feb. 15 at 10:13 p.m., officers arrested Silvester Medeiros, 44, of 12 Cedar St, Cranston for Obstructing an Officer in the Execution of Duty and an Affidavit Arrest Warrant from Portsmouth Police Department. The arrest was the result of a traffic stop on Pocasset Ave. Medeiros was held for morning arraignment.

EXPLOITATION OF ELDERS

On Feb. 15 at 10:11 a.m., officers arrested Jonathan Enright, 43, of 151 Grand Ave. Cranston, RI for Obtaining Money/Goods under False Pretenses > $1,500 and Exploitation of Elders. The arrest was the result of an attempted pickup at the aforementioned address. Enright was awaiting arraignment.

RECKLESS DRIVING & ELUDING POLICE

On Feb. 15 at 10:11 a.m., officers arrested Michael Alexis, 40, of 4 University Rd.# 212 Cambridge, MA for Reckless Driving/Eluding Police, Resisting Legal or Illegal Arrest, Obstructing Officer in Execution of Duty, and an outstanding arrest and affidavit warrant out of Warwick PD. The arrest was the result of a suspicious vehicle in the rear lot of 318 Garfield Ave. (Edge Fitness). Alexis was awaiting arraignment.

DOMESTIC VANDALISM

On Feb. 15 at 12:26 a.m., Officer Johnston arrested Juan J Villar Tejada, 32, of 120 Maplewood St #2 for Domestic Vandalism, Domestic Failure to Relinquish the Telephone and Domestic Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a disturbance call at the aforementioned address. Villar Tejada was arraigned by Justice of the Peace and released.

BENCH WARRANT

On Feb. 14 at 6:09 p.m., officers arrested Johnny Ruiz, 54, of 132 Fordson Ave, Cranston for a Superior Court Bench Warrant. The arrest was the result of a traffic stop on Park Ave. Ruiz was remanded to Men’s Intake.

DUI

On Feb. 14 at 7:37 p.m., officers arrested Nicholas Manocchio, 71, of 56 Cambio Ct, for DUI-1st Offense-BAC Unknown and Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest was the result of a call for an erratic operator on Phenix Ave. Manocchio was arraigned and released by Justice of the Peace.

SHOPLIFTING

On Feb. 14 at 10:11 a.m., officers arrested Javier Resto, 54, of 73 Mitchell St. Providence, RI for Shoplifting, Obstructing Officer in Execution of Duty, and Resisting Legal or Illegal Arrest. The arrest was the result of a call for service at 247 Garfield Ave. (Lowes). Resto was awaiting arraignment.
