WARRANT

At 12:31 a.m. on April 25, Cranston Police arrested Nerisssa Soares, 25, of 202 Kenyon Ave., Apt. 3, Pawtucket, on an outstanding arrest and affidavit warrant out of Pawtucket Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of 1375 Pontiac Ave. Soares was transferred over to Pawtucket PD.

At 7:18 p.m. on April 23, Cranston Police arrested Pedro Diaz, 35, of 224 Beckwith St., Cranston, on a Lincoln Police Department warrant for Violation of a No Contact Order as the result of a call for service at 224 Beckwith St. Diaz was turned over to the Lincoln Police Department.

At 9:16 a.m. on April 22, Cranston Police arrested Joshua Imadiyi, 29, of 73 Beacon Hill Ave., Apt. 2, Lynn, Massachusetts, on a Superior Court Bench Warrant. The arrest was the result of Imadiyi turning himself in at headquarters. Imadiyi was transported to Superior Court.

At 1:50 p.m. on April 21, Cranston Police arrested Curtis Taylor, 40, of 101 Marlborough St., Cranston, on a Cranston Police Department A&A Warrant for Domestic Simple Assault (two counts), Domestic Disorderly Conduct (two counts) and Domestic Refuse/Relinquish Telephone. The arrest was the result of the Providence Police Department arresting him and Officer Russell responding to Providence Police Department where Taylor was turned over to his custody. Taylor awaited arraignment by a Justice of the Peace.

At 10:22 a.m. on April 24, Cranston Police arrested Angel Pacheco III, 28, of 321 Smith St., Cranston, on a Cranston Police Department A&A Warrant for Domestic Assault by Strangulation, Domestic Simple Assault, Domestic Vandalism and Domestic Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of Pacheco turning himself in at headquarters. Pacheco was transported to Third District Court.

At 10:09 a.m. on April 18, Cranston Police arrested Kelvin Enrique Somoza, 20, of 424 Prairie Avenue, Providence, on charges of a Providence Police Department Warrant as a result of a traffic stop at 923 Cranston St. Somoza was transferred to the Providence Police Department.

 

 

STOLEN VEHICLE

At 7:19 p.m. on April 24, Cranston Police arrested Shannon Godbout, 38, of 45 Blue Pond Trail, Hope Valley, on charges of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Driving After Suspension of License (Third or Subsequent Offense) and an Arrest Warrant from Narragansett Police as a result of a flock hit on Warwick Avenue. Godbout was held for morning Court as a Probation Violator.

At 3:13 p.m. on April 21, Cranston Police arrested Juan Mazariegos, 18, of 86 Julian St., Providence, on charges of Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle. The arrest was the result of a Flock hit in the area of Cranston Street and Lincoln Avenue. Mazariegos was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace.

 

 

BREAKING AND ENTERING

At 7:19 p.m. on April 24, Cranston Police arrested Silverio Daveiga, 39, of no known address, on charges of Breaking and Entering a Business Place with Felonious Intent as a result of a breaking and entering in progress at Alpine Wine and Spirits. Daveiga was held for morning Court as a Bail Violator.

 

 

ASSAULT

At 3:15 a.m. on April 24, Cranston Police arrested Caroline Smith, 28, of 184 Aqueduct Road, Cranston, on charges of Domestic Simple Assault and Domestic Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a disturbance at the aforementioned address. Smith awaited arraignment by the Justice of the Peace.

At 10:26 p.m. on April 19, Cranston Police arrested Jacob Cruz, 19, of 10 Howard St., Cranston, on charges of felony assault, firing in a compacted area, license or permit required for carrying a pistol, and drive by shooting. The arrest was the result of a Cranston Police investigation and Providence Police car stop. Cruz awaited arraignment.

 

 

OBSTRUCTING OFFICERS

At 9 a.m. on April 23, Cranston Police arrested Elmer E. Rondon, 26, of 52 Urquhart St., Apt. 1, Cranston, on charges of Obstructing Officers in Execution of Duty as a result of a traffic accident at 596 Laurel Hill Avenue. Rondon awaited arraignment.

 

 

RECKLESS DRIVING

At 4:57 p.m. on April 22, Cranston Police arrested Franklin Tejada, 25, of 66 Gallatin St., Apt. 2, Providence, on charges of Reckless Driving, Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Legal or Illegal Arrest and Obstruction as the result of a motor vehicle stop on Cranston Street. Tejada was arraigned and transported to the ACI as a probation violator.

 

 

SUSPENDED LICENSE

At 4:40 p.m. on April 20, Cranston Police arrested Yohnni Tetreault, 24, of 1585 Elmwood Ave., Cranston, on charges of Driving on a Suspended License (Third/Greater). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of 555 Park Ave. Tetreault received a District Court notice to appear.

 

 

VANDALISM

At 5:57 p.m. on April 20, Cranston Police arrested Enrique Martinez, 18, of 1548 Cranston St., Cranston, on charges of Vandalism. The arrest was the result of a call for service at 198 Aqueduct Road. Martinez was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace.

At 7:12 p.m. on April 20, Cranston Police arrested Christopher Laliberte, 44, of 379 Seven Mile Road, Hope, on charges of Vandalism and Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a call for service in the area of 372 Seven Mile Rd. Laliberte was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace.

At 5:09 p.m. on April 18, Cranston Police arrested Jaycup Lindgren, 23, of 575 Dyer Ave., Apt. G-125, Cranston, on charges of Domestic-Vandalism/Malicious Injury to Property and Domestic-Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of the subject turning himself in on a previously issued warrant. Lindgren was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.
