DUI

At 3:15 a.m. on July 10, Cranston Police arrested Rosalio Castro Ramos, 26, of 53 Lincoln Ave., Apt. 2, Cranston, on charges of DUI – BAC unknown and Breathalyzer Refusal (first offense). The arrest was the result of an accident investigation at Webster and Farmington Avenue. Ramos awaited arraignment.

At 5:57 p.m. on July 9, Cranston Police arrested Leon Lopes, 29, of 123 Manolla Ave., Warwick, on charges of DUI – BAC unknown and Breathalyzer Refusal (first offense). The arrest was the result of a traffic stop on Elmwood Avenue and Fenner Street. Lopes was arraigned and released. 


BREAKING AND ENTERING

At 8:41 p.m. on July 9, Cranston Police arrested Issiah Dias, 22, of 8 Audrey St., Providence, on charges of Breaking and Entering, Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Legal or Illegal Arrest, and two Superior Court Full Bench Warrants. Dias awaited arraignment.


ROBBERY

At 2:22 p.m. on July 7, Cranston Police arrested Yoselin Tiu Morales, 22, of 37 Carrs Lane, Warwick, on charges of attempted Second Degree Robbery and Obstruction after an investigation of the incident at 1203 Oaklawn Ave. Morales was held for bail commissioner arraignment.


WARRANT

At 6:25 p.m. on July 9, Cranston Police arrested Amar Harrison, 22, of 30 Howard Ave., Cranston, on a Cranston Police Department Arrest Warrant for Sex Offender Registration Required. The arrest was the result of a warrant pick up at 30 Howard Ave. Harrison was arraigned and remanded to the ACI as a violator.

At 1:25 a.m. on July 7, Cranston Police arrested Mark William, 33, of 1000 Willett Ave., Apt. 2, Riverside, on charges of weapons other than firearm prohibited, a Cranston Police Arrest Warrant for Violation of a No Contact Order and Domestic Disorderly Conduct. Additionally, he had two District Court Bench Warrants and a Superior Court Full Bench Warrant. The arrest was the result of a 911 hang up at 68 Weston Ave. William awaited arraignment.

At 6:55 a.m. on July 7, Cranston Police arrested Dawn Maria Conetta, 53, of 188 Farmington Ave., Apt. 1, Cranston, on a Cranston Police Arrest Warrant for Domestic Simple Assault and Domestic Disorderly Conduct as a result of a disturbance call at 188 Farmington St. Conetta was transferred to Third District Court for arraignment.

At 8:10 a.m. on July 6, Cranston Police arrested Jacob P. Palazzo, 22, of 115 Curry Road, Cranston, on a 24-hour Domestic Warrant for Domestic Vandalism as a result of a disturbance report at 60 Rhodes Place. Palazzo was transferred to Third District Court for arraignment.

At 4:45 p.m. on July 5, Cranston Police arrested Geury Oneal, 25, of 378 Wellington Ave., Cranston, on an Arrest and Affidavit Warrant out of Lincoln Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of 432 Union Ave. Oneal was transferred to Lincoln Police.


SEXUAL ASSAULT

On June 29, the Statewide Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Cranston resident Jason Fernandes, 36, with first-degree sexual assault (one count). The alleged act occurred in Cranston sometime between Nov. 1 and Dec. 31, 2020. The Cranston Police Department conducted the investigation. The defendant is scheduled to be arraigned on July 20, 2022, in Kent County Superior Court.


SIMPLE ASSAULT

At 5:57 p.m. on July 6, Cranston Police arrested Khalil Foley, 26, of 19 Church St., Apt. 2, Cranston, on charges of Domestic Simple Assault and Domestic Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a disturbance at the aforementioned address. Foley was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace.

At 10:20 a.m. on July 5, Cranston Police arrested Joseph M. Domenico, 42, of 9 Oakwood Drive, Cranston, on charges of Domestic Simple Assault, Domestic Disorderly Conduct and Obstructing Officer in Execution of Duty as a result of a disturbance call at 9 Oakwood Drive. Domenico was transferred to Third District Court for arraignment.
