On 8/14/2023 at approximately 2122hrs, Officers arrested Diego Ventura Lastor (20) of 9 Whipple Ave 2nd floor, Cranston RI for (1) count of Felony Assault. The arrest was a result of a disturbance call which involved a stabbing at 9 Whipple Ave.

On 8/22/23 at approx. 0033hrs. Officers arrested William Gerrity, 32, of 2 Denise Dr., Seekonk Ma. for DUI/Drugs/Alcohol 1st Offense - BAC unknown and Refusal to submit to a Chemical Test as a result of a single vehicle accident investigation at the dead end of Norwood Ave.

Fraudulent Checks

On 8/15/23at approximately 1642 HRS., Officers arrested Onajide Ayomide, 22 charging him with one (1) count of Fraudulent Checks over $1000, one (1) count of Larceny under $1500, and an active Warwick A&A warrant. The arrest was a result of a call for service at Navigant Credit Union, 200 Phenix Ave.

No Contact Order

On 8/14/23 at approximately 1915 HRS., Officers arrested Luis Argueta, 50, of 20 Sumner Ave #2 for one (1) count of Violation of No Contact Order. The arrest was a result of a Cranston A&A warrant pickup out of Providence Police.

On 8/17/23 at 1545 hours Officers arrested Angelica Ferrer (27) of 28 Yeoman Ave. Cranston, for Prostitution, Obstructing Officer in the Execution of Duty, and False Report of a Crime. Arrest is the result of an attempt pick up at the aforementioned address.

Reckless Driving

On 08/21/23 at 1030 hrs, Officers arrested Ravi Shankar (48) of 108 Pawtuxet Av, Cranston for a CPD warrant for Reckless Driving/Eluding. Arrest was the result of a MV stop on Pawtuxet Av.

Sexual Offender Registration

On 08/17/23 at 2349 hours, Officers arrested David Hamlin Jr. (42) of 30 Howard Ave., Cranston, RI for Sexual Offender Registration Required. Arrest is the result RI State Police turning custody over at Cranston Police HQ.

Vandalism

On 08/16/23 at 0819 hrs Officers arrested Jerry Sullivan (55) of 7 Magnolia Wy, Nashua NH for Vandalism and Disorderly Conduct. Arrest was the result of an incident at 22 Chapel View Blvd.
