A steady stream of pre-registered visitors made their way to Veterans Memorial Ice Rink on Phenix Avenue on Saturday morning for a paint recycling drop-off event hosted by the city and PaintCare. Employees from Clean Harbors collected cans of paint, stain and varnish from vehicles, with the material later taken for proper disposal. To learn more about the PaintCare program, visit paintcare.org or call 855-724-6809. (Herald photo by Steve Popiel)
