Thousands of Scouts collected over 88 tons of food during the 37th annual Scouting for Food drive across Rhode Island, southeastern Massachusetts, and Pawcatuck, Connecticut, on Saturday, Nov. 2. The annual initiative, the largest food drive in the state, highlighted one of Scouting’s primary focuses – doing a “Good Turn” daily. Additionally, over the past four years, online donations related to the food drive have raised well over $20,000 for the Rhode Island Community Food Bank.
