Summertime presents all kinds of health challenges – safe sun exposure, proper hydration and mosquito/tick prevention. Join us to learn how best to protect our health during these summer months.
“A Fall Prevention Class”
Tuesdays – 10:30 a.m. Fee $3
With the use of a chair, together we refine our balance skills to reduce the risk of falls. We increase upper and lower body strength in order to become more functional in daily activities including climbing stairs, carrying shopping bags or reaching for items on shelves. Stretching increases mobility of soft tissue, releasing the restrictions that limit range of motion and often cause hip or low back pain. This class aims to prepare you to take on everyday life with a little more confidence and a feeling of independence in being more self-sufficient. Join NASM Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist Roberta for an all-inclusive, appropriate-for-all training.
