The annual Armenian Food Bazaar at the Armenian Evangelical Church on Oaklawn Avenue in Cranston once again drew a hungry crowd looking to indulge on kheyma dinners, kufta and broth, bulgur pilaf, losh kebab, grape leaves, hundreds of homemade pastries, and so much more last Saturday.
Always held the Saturday before Thanksgiving, the annual event is an opportunity to raise proceeds to support the church and more importantly bring the community together.
“It’s about the comradery,” said Mary Ann Jordan, who has served as the event chair for the last two decades.
