Hundreds of people gathered for the 7th annual Knightsville Gazebo Christmas tree lighting hosted by Council President Chris Paplauskas.
“It was a wonderful evening filled with Christmas Carols from Saint Mary’s School Choir, hot chocolate provided by The Thirsty Beaver, pizza provided by Lou Umberto’s Italian Kitchen, and cookies provided by the Saint Mary’s Ladies Auxiliary,” said Paplauskas.
The women from the St. Mary’s Feast Society Ladies Auxiliary also staffed the refreshment tent passing out all of the food and drinks. The Christmas tree was donated by Maplewood Landscaping and Nursery and all of the decorations
and lights were hung by volunteers. The master of ceremonies for the event for the past seven years is no stranger to our beloved Knightsville, Christopher Edward Buonanno. (Text by Meri R. Kennedy/Herald photos by Steve Popiel)
