Region Church is new in town and is making Cranston its home. To show how much the church loves Cranston, it held a gas giveaway this past Saturday at Savers Mart on Park Avenue. Region Church gave the first 100 cars $20 worth of free gas.
“We are doing this to let the community know that Region Church loves our city and we are here to serve just as Jesus did,” said Pastor Leslie McMillan.
Region Church is nondenominational and will hold its launch day on Sept. 25 with mass being held at 11 a.m. on Sundays at Cranston High School East (899 Park Ave., Cranston). The church talks about having a fun, dynamic culture, relevant and engaging worship, a powerful and encouraging message and a safe and exciting kids experience.
