West Bay Community Theater will hold auditions on Saturday, January 21st (2pm-4pm) and Monday, January 23rd (6:30pm – 8:30pm) for Noel Coward’s comedy of manners, PRIVATE LIVES, directed by WBCT President, Terry Shea.

All parts (3 Women, 2 Men) are open and available. The play will be period-specific to the script (early 20th century). WBCT observes equal-opportunity policies in regards to casting.

• Elyot: Lead, Male, 30-40

• Amanda: Lead, Female, 30-40

• Victor: Supporting, Male, 30-45

• Sybil: Supporting, Female, 23-30

• Louise: Supporting, Female, 18-64 (ability to speak French a plus, but not required)

 Production dates are April 28-30 in Wickford. Rehearsals will be twice a week starting in February, with additional dates added starting the first week of April. All rehearsals, unless otherwise noted, will take place in Wickford.

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. All who consider auditioning will be asked to fill out and sign an audition form that outlines key dates, asks for actor experience and conflicts, and asks all to adhere to the WBCT Code of Conduct.
