“Moana 2” follows the darling young Hawaiian girl as she travels through a series of adventures to save the environment.

While very similar in style and substance to the popular original film, the sequel does introduce some new interesting and colorful characters and songs.

Parents may be a bit bored, but kids seem to enjoy repetition (my grandchildren watch the same videos over and over), so the familiarity is an attraction.

Dwayne Johnson is the voice of the shapeshifting demigod who follows Moana on her quest, occasionally getting in the way.

Bright colors and quality drawings are standards for Disney animation, and this colorful, exciting coming-of-age movie is no exception.
