I thought writers were supposed to be able to spell - or, at the very least, know how to run Spell Check.
The synonym for hot dog is W-I-E-N-E-R - NOT W-E-I-N-E-R.
Just because Anthony Weiner mispronounces his name does not mean we can abandon proper pronunciation altogether.
