DOT also needs new traffic engineers. Any intersection on Park Ave and the cross streets with a traffic control light, need a left turn only lane with a signal. Either make Park Ave two lanes or four lanes. At route 10 we have a rush after the intersection to merge, why? The ramp from Route 10 should one lane to go east on Park Ave and Park Ave at Route 10 intersection heading west should be left at one lane, instead of a merge after the intersection. Park, Budlong and Dyer and Park, Phenix and Cranston intersection needs sorting out too. What is it when they have two lanes to work with they make a right turn only lane and a straight/left turn lane? If any thing left only and straight/right would be a better option. It only took a few years to figure this out at Atwood at Plainfield heading north they didn't get it heading south??? I will give them credit for sorting out Park at Reservoir.

This is one road in one city in RI with a multitude of what should be easy obvious changes, yet our traffic people seem unable to complete the task.
