Report Inappropriate Comments

It is never hard to guess what the comments will be when someone discusses the topic of sexism. It is always the males telling women to not be so offended and get over it. I am really sorry to tell you this gentlemen but this isn't going to go away and stop anytime soon. The foundation has continued to be built over many generations. The push back of gender roles and stipulations are breaking apart because we no longer live in the 40s, 50s, 60s, etc. Women are leaders as well. They don't just gather to "have fun". They are in the processes of building behavior that will help them be successful in the future. I am happy to see more and more women (and girls at a young age) sound out their displeasure at being locked into a gender role that has been defined by men for decades. A change in how women are perceived and breaking down barriers in both personal and professional lives. Buckle up men, we aren't going away and your silly one-liners don't hold any weight anymore. We will just walk over them on our way to creating our own definitions of who we are.
