Great comment WwkVoter. It is so important for people to know that they are not alone in their addiction and mental health obstacles. Rhode Island doesn't have it 100% right on the policy yet, but this city and our state do an excellent job on the personnel side. The federal level has alot of work to do. The restrictions being placed on patients who haven't broken any laws are creating horrible challenges for people. Politico had a great article on the subject of federal restrictions causing headaches for law abiding patients. Its about a 4-6 weeks old I recommend everyone read that article. Anyone who is struggling just know that you are ok and it does get better. There are so many incredible people out there willing to assist you. I wish anyone struggling the best of luck. Always remember it does get better!
