I just read through all the letters linked above. Some of the letters were from 2006 warning how badly the Mayor was screwing the taxpayers. Then the residential tax rate was under $13. Today the rate is $20.80. The max increase we expect this summer will put the rate at $21.64ish. The responsible thing for the city to do is stop raising taxes & start renegotiating contracts & pensions.
