If the allegations of an illegal unratified contract are borne out then the Captain's point is valid. Clawbacks of part of the payouts would be justified & hopefully jail time for the signatories. Does anybody want to argue that if true the unratified contracts are public corruption? If the allegations are proven to be true are you embarrassed to have been a part of ripping off your neighbors?
