The fact that Mr. Cote is under criminal investigation by the DEM for illegally trapping and killing animals should not come as a surprise to anyone familiar with his past criminal behavior. Mr. Cote has been arrested for making threatening phone calls to the home of a city employee, and he has also been arrested for illegally dumping gasoline down a storm drain, almost causing an entire neighborhood to blow up. Couple those facts with his recent behavior at a local funeral home, where he harassed and screamed at the family of a deceased gentleman, and it's readily apparent that Mr. Cote could be mentally unstable and a danger to others. Hopefully this will be a wake up call for him to seek professional counseling where he can be treated for his issues.
