Three men have been arrested in connection with a Thursday night assault and robbery at the intersection of Cranston Street and Depot Avenue.

Alexander Collins, 25, of 1085 Main St. in West Warwick, Eric Perkins, 30, of 193 Park Ave. in Cranston, and Antron Dublin, a.k.a. Antron Russell, 35, of 60 Comstock Ave. in Providence, are all charged with first-degree robbery and conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery, according to a press release from the Cranston Police Department.

Perkins is additionally charged with assault with a dangerous weapon. All three men were ordered held without bail following arraignment Friday morning in Third District Court in Warwick. Collins and Perkins were additionally presented as Superior Court violators, while Dublin is on federal probation.

According to police, the incident occurred shortly before the arrests were made at approximately 8:30 p.m. An initial investigation is said to have found three suspects beat and pistol-whipped a 29-year-old man at the intersection in question before fleeing in a black Ford F150 bearing New York registration plates. The victim is said to have sustained minor injuries, and reported that his iPhone had been stolen.

Neighboring police departments were notified, and a short time later, Providence police stopped a vehicle matching the description at the intersection of Cranston and Superior streets.

The three male suspects were detained, along with a female who was later released after questioning. The victim positively identified the three men as having been the perpetrators of the assault and robbery, according to police.
