To celebrate the end of the 2015-16 school year, the Glen Hills PTGH sponsored the second annual Glen Hills Family Carnival on June 2. Last year was the first year for the carnival, which included the dedication of a new garden and flagpole. This year, more than 350 guests were in attendance, and the activities included lawn games, such as bowling and mini golf, face painting, tattoos, duck races, pizza, hot dogs, as well as a cupcake and a KONA ice truck. The grand prize winner of the duck races was third-grader Grace Gibbons, who won a Chromebook computer. (Herald photos by Jen Cowart)
