Olindo J. Pennacchini, 83, passed away February 22, 2014 at Kent Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Catherine M. (Morrissey) Pennacchini.
He was a son of the late Paul and Josephine (Rivelli) Pennacchini. Olindo was employed as a machinist for Edmonds Co. for 27 years before retiring. He was a United States Marine Corp veteran of the Korean War with the rank of Corporal.
He was the father of Lynn Dion (Gerard); grandfather of Russell and Giselle Dion; brother of the late Agnes Fiero, Janet Donofrio, Joseph, Anthony, Alfred and Peter Pennacchini.
His funeral will be held Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 9 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Paul Church, One St. Paul Place, Edgewood at 10 a.m. Burial with military honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
