Do you dread spring cleaning? Does clutter get you down? Home Instead will offer tips and suggestions as to the best tactics to use to deal with both spring cleaning and de-cluttering. You will be motivated to stop procrastinating and finally make the commitment to de-clutter your environment.
Summer Nutrition Series Part II

URI SNAP Program
This summer five-part series focuses on the benefits of healthy eating, seasonal fruits and vegetables, and local produce. There are recipe tastings each week and fun activities.
A Karaoke Party!
Wednesdays beginning July 8, 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Channel your inner Rock Star and join in the fun! Take part in group singing, solos, duets, or just come and enjoy the music.
Arthritis Exercise Classes
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1:15 p.m.
Beginning Tuesday, July 14

Legal Clinic
Thursday, July 16, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
This clinic is provided by the Rhode Island Bar Association’s Legal Information and Referral Service for the Elderly. A lawyer will be available on the third Thursday of each month. Sessions are 20 minutes and appointments must be made ahead of time. Please call 401-780-600 for your appointment.
Aerobics
Mondays and Wednesdays at 10 a.m., Fridays at 10:15 a.m.
Members $3 / Non-members $4
For the more active senior, we have Gold Aerobics taught by a certified instructor. This class includes stretching, cardiovascular, and strengthening with weights. Remember … exercising will keep you healthy plus give you strength and motivation! For more information, call 401-780-6216.
55+ No Limits TV
Our new cable TV show features segments on better living and services and activities at the center. For many of our members who do not have Cox Cable or Verizon, come watch the show in our Theatre Room on Tuesday, July 7 at 10:30 a.m. For those who do have Cox Cable (Channel 18) or Verizon (Channel 30) you can view the program on Mondays at 11 a.m., Tuesdays at 2 p.m., Fridays at 11 a.m. and 8 p.m., and Saturdays at 6 p.m.
Golf, anyone?
The Over 65 Golf League is comprised of two-person teams that play two mornings a week at Goddard Park. Members are men and women who range in ages from 65 to 80-plus. The annual dues are $40, which is applied to prizes and a banquet at the end of the season. Handicaps are assigned, and all levels of play are welcome. Come out and meet new people, get some fresh air, exercise, and above all have some fun. For more information, call 401-780-6000.
