Cranston, Rhode Island, April, 2024 - The Cranston Combined Percussion Team is excitedly preparing for the New England Scholastic Band Association Championships being held on April 7. They are currently in second place just behind Everett High School in the very competitive Scholastic Marching Percussion A class. Everett is currently ranked first in the country among the groups going to the WGI World Championships and CCP is ranked third. Should the Cranston team make the finals at the WGI World Championships, they would be among the elite Scholastic Marching A groups in the country this year.

Additionally, the CCP is hosting a community performance on Saturday, April 13th, 6:30-8 PM in the Cranston East Gym. They will be joined by performing artist Garza, from the Haus of Glitter, plus the Cranston East Hip Hop Dance Crew, Latin Dance Club, and Caribbean Dance Club. The community is welcome to this celebration of the great music, dance, and culture here in Cranston.
